Nicolas Sarkozy confirms in his declarations on the Crémel business.
Putting at the challenge the president of the republic Jacques Chirac and Dominique de Villepin, the Minister of Interior Department denied Friday evening to have called into question the independence of justice when it showed "fault" the judges who gave in freedom the assassin of Nelly Crémel.
"It is said that I call into question the independence of justice. It is a joke ", declared Mr. Sarkozy.
"isn't it the role of a political leader to put the true questions, to launch the debate?
And the scandal, it comes from that which launches a true debate or those which were mistaken at the point to be in front of the catastrophe with which we are confronted?", it was questioned.
In its eyes, "an error of appreciation which leads to a murder, which leads a family in the most total disaster" is not only one "fault" but a "drama".
